4 Day Safari Tour
Itinerary

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by an Omura representative who will transfer you to your hotel. There, you will be given time to settle in before a meet and greet with your safari guide. In this meeting, we will brief you on what to expect during the safari and answer any last-minute questions you may have.

After breakfast, your safari guide will arrive at the hotel and drive the 2.5 hours to Tarangire National Park. The Tarangire National Park receives its name from the major water source for the wildlife that resides within the park, the Tarangire River. During today's drive, you will have the chance to see giraffes, elephants, lions, antelopes, leopards, zebras, warthogs, buffaloes, and an extensive collection of exotic birds. Baobab trees, known as the tree of life, can be seen throughout the park and especially along the Tarangire River.
As evening sets you will be driven to your accommodation location where you will be served dinner and can settle in for the night.

After having breakfast you will continue to Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. During today's drive, you will experience a picturesque caldera with the most abundant wildlife. As your driver descends down into the Ngorongoro Crater you will enjoy amazing views and get up close with the crater’s residents. Today you will have the chance to see Africa's Big Five. After a lunch break, you will begin your drive into the Serengeti National Park.
As evening sets you will be driven to your accommodation location where you will be served dinner and can settle in for the night.

Today you will get to experience the natural beauty of the Serengeti. You will have a chance to see zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hippopotamuses. After a lunch break your game drive will continue into the afternoon where your guide will endeavor to get you close to the Serengeti wildlife. As evening sets in you will be returned to your accommodation where you will be served dinner and can settle in for the night.

After breakfast, you will begin your drive back to Arusha visiting local markets and villages around Karatu and Mtowambu. As evening sets you will be driven to your accommodation location where you will be served dinner and can settle in for the night.

At your required time an Omura vehicle will transfer you to your next destination. If you have additional time we recommend you extend your stay with a relaxing beach trip to Zanzibar.

4×4 Land Cruiser safari vehicle.

All meals during the safari tour.
All national park fees (as required by Tanzanian law).
All salaries for Guides and Chefs (if applicable), on the safari tour.
Equipment costs for budget safaris, including tents (twin share), camping mattresses, chairs, table, and dining utensils
Exclusions
International airfare tickets from your origin to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Visa entry requirement fees as required by Tanzanian law (You can apply for a visa at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, however, we suggest getting pre-approval as it is quicker upon arrival).
Travel insurance.
Any pre-medical requirements (including any required Covid tests).
Tips for guides and chefs. We recommend tipping the guides $20 per day each, the chef $15 per day, however, please feel free to tip how you see fit.
If you are interested in eating outside of your lodge during your stay in Arusha city, you will be required to cover this cost.
Any spending money. We will stop at several places to give you the opportunity to buy souvenirs.
If you are interested in drinking during your stay, alcohol is an additional cost as is any drink ordered at the lounge bar.
